A Little Love, A Greater Purpose
The Story Behind Dear Dog by Pressed Theory
Sometimes, the most beautiful blessings arrive during the seasons when we need them most.
After experiencing profound loss, unexpected health challenges, and the uncertainty of beginning again, I found myself adjusting to a life that looked very different from the one I had known.
My once-busy home, filled with family, laughter, and the beautiful sounds of everyday life, had grown quiet.
And then came Lulu.
A sweet dog who was also learning to navigate a new home, unfamiliar surroundings, and a different way of life.
As I began caring for her, I discovered that we had something in common. We were both learning to trust, to find comfort in new routines, and to take each day with a little more courage.
Through quiet mornings, patient walks, and the simple joy of having her beside me, I was reminded that even after difficult seasons, there is still room for love, purpose, and new beginnings.
That experience helped inspire Dear Dog by Pressed Theory.
What began as a love for creating handmade bandannas, bows, and meaningful accessories has grown into something close to my heart: a faith-centered community where encouragement, compassion, creativity, and the love of animals come together.
Through the Dear Dog Letter Club, I hope to share monthly letters filled with Scripture, hope, gratitude, and reminders of God’s love.
And through our growing Paws of Hope initiative, I hope to work alongside shelters and foster families to help more deserving animals be seen, loved, and welcomed into their forever homes.
Because I believe the smallest acts of kindness can carry extraordinary meaning.
Whether you are here for a handmade piece, a heartfelt letter, or simply a little encouragement, I am grateful you found your way here.
There is always room for more love in this world.
With love,
Dannie ❤️🐾
